Hello! My name is Ms. Kendall, and I am super excited to be joining Acton Academy Lakes Region as a guide this year. I graduated just down the street from Laconia High School, where I played volleyball and softball. Growing up as the oldest in a big family full of cousins and siblings, I naturally grew a love for helping children. For the past two years, I’ve also had the opportunity to build on that passion by working at an after-school program at Woodland Heights Elementary. I’m thrilled to bring that experience into the studio and support each learner’s journey here at Acton. I look forward to an amazing year ahead with the Spark Studio!
I grew up here in Laconia, the youngest of 7 kids. Both of my parents were teachers. My Mom taught elementary school at a local private school, and my Dad was one of the founding professors of what is now known as Concord Community College. I have nieces who have taught in South Korea and Dubai, and my daughter-in-law recently taught in Spain.
I worked as a Dental Radiology Certified assistant for 12 years, and spent the last decade working with Hospice and Dementia patients. I worked in two local facilities as a Director of Activities, all of which I enjoyed and have a passion for.
I went to college initially for International Business in West Palm Beach then changed my major to Marketing, and eventually obtained my certification in Dental Radiology. I love to travel. I backpacked throughout Europe for 3 months after graduating from high school. I am the proud Mom of two grown “kids.” My beautiful daughter recently turned 18. She is a talented artist with a love of reptiles. My 29-year-old son is an accountant living in Massachusetts, and is currently in Europe and just became engaged in Madrid!
It has been nothing short of amazing to acclimate myself to Acton Academy. My studio encompasses passionate learners, all on their own journey to success. I have watched them grow individually and as a tribe, which has been wonderful to be a part of. I am here to help guide them on their journey, and I look forward to supporting them with continued growth!
Hello! My name is Ms. Natalie, and I am excited to serve as the Middle School and Launch Pad guide at Acton Academy Lakes Region this year. I grew up here in Laconia and attended the local public schools, where my passion for working with young people first began. During my senior year of high school, I developed and launched my own mentoring program, partnering with sixth-grade learners at Laconia Middle School.
I graduated from Laconia High School and went on to pursue my education at Southern New Hampshire University, completing my degree in just three years. In my free time, I coach basketball all ages, helping them build new skills and share my passion for the sport. I’m eager to contribute to the community that raised me, and put both my academic learning and experience into action. I’m looking forward to an amazing year with both learners and families here at Acton!
